About Sulagna Chatterjee
Scientific journalism and philosophy of tech major (Undergrad) with an associate career in media and communication design, I want to create meticulously researched, interdisciplinary, non-linear and visually-striking educational materials that establish human knowledge and language as a \"rhizomatic\"[Deleuze & Guattari \'75] structure. With my current work experience as a digital marketing & content executive for a Med-tech device company, I am also studying policymaking with relevance to science- both pre-existing and emergent - moving into the domain of scientific advisory, policy and putting the future of science into perspective through foresight and research. I also build concepts and scripts that do not aim to follow conventions yet respect the constraints of objective, technical and factual dissemination. Parallel to my work, I have collaborated with humanists and creatives for various media projects and publications. With writing/semantics as one of my most prominent strengths, I have written and held successful pitches for MIT tech review, assisting in anthropological research and editing for pieces like “Ray Kurzweil- Technology will let us fully realize our humanity”. Through whichever medium, my purpose is to move toward scientific advisory, creative directorship, journalism and policy- invigorating human curiosity and critical thinking so as to make the white and gray matter within your skull a much better and exciting place.
