ABOUT SUKHRAJ KAUR
An experienced Senior Scientist with analytical and technical experience in academia, private sector and NHS with a team building and leading experience. I have developed extensive experience in PCRs and analysing data in a target set lab environment and from performing validation studies to training new staff with GLP and QC. This has not only enhanced my problem solving, troubleshooting skills but also to adapt to stressful situations and overcome them. I have led a successful governmental UKAS audit and have a research experience within cellular pathology and have presented it at IBMS Poster Congress. I am also a STEM ambassador and was a Vice President of student school council that has enhanced my communication, time management and leadership skills at early stages. I was fortunate to secure a place on phD based project in my final year that has given me to work with the senior phD students and gained valuable teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills within the time frame. I enjoy meeting new challenges and seeing them through to completion. I can work quickly and under pressure whilst maintaining a calm approach. I am looking forward to develop my laboratory skills and knowledge to progress on future career plans.
