ABOUT SUKHMAN SINGH
Driven by connection, innovation, and support, I build software and collaborative solutions that strengthen Calgary’s tech ecosystem. I’m a Software Developer and IT Analyst passionate about connecting technology, community, and real-world impact in Calgary’s growing tech ecosystem. My work spans startups, community initiatives, and volunteer leadership—where I translate problems into solutions that scale and create value for both people and organizations. I led the New Homes in Calgary project, an automated platform powered by web scrapers and data pipelines, that reduced the client\'s manual data entry by 90%- delivering a self-sustaining, real-time housing insights tool. With hands-on experience in full-stack development, microservices, AI chatbots, and IT operations, I’ve worn many hats: At Moovez, I turned customer pain points into automation by building AI-powered FAQ/voice agents, enhancing Android/iOS/web apps, and creating microservices that streamlined logistics operations. At Tech Connect Alberta, I managed Google Workspace administration, access control, and live event IT support, ensuring digital systems ran seamlessly for staff, partners, and participants. Beyond technical work, I thrive on collaboration and community. From volunteering at Calgary tech events to mentoring newcomers, I believe innovation is as much about people as code. My mission is to keep learning, grow alongside Calgary’s thriving tech community, and build solutions that empower others. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring innovation events, mentoring peers, and diving into projects that merge creativity with technology. Let’s connect! Whether you’re interested in software projects, AI innovation, or growing Calgary’s tech ecosystem, I’m always open to collaborating and sharing ideas.
