Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, lead the Canadian Division’s strategy function to deliver key mandates in partnership with senior and executive leadership.Strategic Planning:• Partner with executives through workshops to define long-term strategy, grounded in research on industry trends, technologies, customer preferences, macroeconomic and competitor developments.• Lead development of the annual strategic roadmap, aligning leaders on vision, goals, pillars, and priorities that guide enterprise capital and resource allocation.Capital Allocation:• Allocate capital to projects aligned with priorities, ensuring investment in initiatives that drive near-term value and long-term advantage.• Evaluate and balance investments across functions to optimize impact, supporting today’s performance while advancing future growth and innovation.Strategic Initiatives and Investments:• Manage major strategic initiatives with cross-functional partners, focusing on growth, cost optimization, business development, and assessing partnership, investment, and acquisition opportunities.• Provide thought partnership through structured problem solving and analysis, driving alignment, implementation planning, and change management.Executive and Operational Support:• Facilitate executive forums—including Initiatives meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Operational Readiness sessions—to align initiatives, performance, sales strategies, and risk mitigation.• Develop and deliver executive presentations for the Board and Atlanta leadership, partnering with Canadian executives on strategic messaging and alignment.Marketplace Monitoring:• Monitor and share key economic indicators, retail and consumer trends, and competitor actions to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.
