Discovery Biology - Assay DevelopmentDevelop and execute de novo and customized biochemical, cellular, and biomarker assays, including PK/PD assessments of large molecule therapeutics in animal matrices - using colorimetric, luminescence, fluorescence readouts, and multi-color flow cytometry, generating high-quality data to support IND-enabling studies.Analyze clinical samples for exploratory endpoints using ELISA, MSD, enzyme activity assays, and other biomarker platforms; leverage robotic automation and liquid handlers to deliver reproducible, high-throughput data that inform key program decisions.Design and optimize IC₅₀ screening assays, phosphorylation assays in PBMCs, whole blood, in vitro enzyme systems, and cell lines, driving hit-to-lead and lead optimization efforts.Collaborate cross-functionally with DMPK scientists, pharmacologists, and analytical chemists; prepare formal reports and protocols, engage in client-facing discussions, and adapt to client needs to achieve early drug discovery milestones.
