Manage and coordinate daily transport operations for Teesport and Doncaster, overseeing multiple planning boards using GTS to maintain efficient workflow and load allocation. • Communicate regularly with drivers to provide clear load instructions, delivery details, and operational updates to support smooth and timely deliveries. • Manage daily retail and trunking transport plans focused on Tesco store and distribution centre deliveries nationwide, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods across the UK network. • Prepare daily and overnight driver manning plans using Excel, allocating drivers, vehicles, and customer deliveries for the current and following day. • Monitor vehicles and trailers through Microlise, vehicle tracking systems to ensure real time visibility of fleet movements and proactively address any delays or issues. • Work closely with colleagues across different depots nationwide to resolve trailer availability, fleet issues, and operational challenges in a timely manner.
