   In my current role at Hike, I have been instrumental in unifying MySQL and MongoDB transactions into a single BigQuery ledger, which has streamlined financial reconciliation and operational analytics. I designed and implemented a greenfield data platform that bootstraps ingestion from various sources, enabling self-serve insights on platforms like Tableau and Metabase. Additionally, I built a wide-table schema framework that allows teams to add metrics without impacting production queries, significantly reducing maintenance overhead.Achievements: I led a major project that involved migrating over 270 data jobs to a newly established data warehouse, resulting in a tenfold improvement in query performance. I also refactored a monolithic reporting query into incremental Dataform stages, achieving a 12× faster run time and 90% storage savings. My efforts in optimizing data flows eliminated ₹4.5L per month in egress fees, showcasing my ability to drive cost-effective solutions while enhancing operational efficiency.
