About Sujay Pai
I am an Associate Partner withthe Valuation Advisory Team here at BDO India. I specialize in Valuations and Financial Modelling – right from share valuation, business valuation to Intangible Valuation, Purchase Price Allocation. Prior to BDO India LLP I worked with Baker Tilly DHC in Valuations. Before that I have extensively worked in the taxation domain with expertise in international taxation and transfer pricing including litigations and representation before appellate authorities. I have also worked for some part in the funding due diligence being conducted for the National Skill Development Corporation as a part of the skilling strategy of the government. I have also worked in the areas of Corporate Restructuring Advisory with advising on the optimum structure considering the tax and stamp duty aspects to implementation of the structure including court approvals.I have also worked prior to it with the Citigroup in the Documentary Collection and Fund Transfer teams executing services for the Latin American region and gained understanding of that part of international trade and US laws governing trade and payment.Outside of office, I am passionate about a wide variety of subjects and spend most of time updating about the same including Astronomy, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Still Photography, Birds. Currently learning Music and Guitar. a
