I am Board certified in Ayurvedic Medicine ( BAMS) from India and a Masters (MSEd) from University of Dayton, Ohio. I have a fellowship and certified in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy from IPI. I have been in practice for over 20 years in the field of mental health and over 30 years in the field of Ayurveda. I moved to Denver in 2015 from Ohio and have a private practice. I am licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Counselor, license number and also by the State of Colorado, License No. LPC.00•••40. I am also Certified in CBT, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation and Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT)and Psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. My counseling practice is limited to Individual Adult mental health. I offer Health Coaching through Ayurveda and Mindfulness based disease management. I coach clients suffering from Pain and illness, Cancer, Diabetes, Heart disease, Weight issues, women\'s health issues, other lifestyle and chronic conditions. MY PHILOSOPHY: As a Counselor, Coach and Ayurvedic Consultant I approach the therapeutic process from a holistic view point. I believe that the integration of the body, mind and spirit is an essential expression of personal health. Many of today’s Mental, Physical and Social Illnesses stem from a lack of integration-disintegration, resulting in persons dissociated from themselves,the community and the environment. My focus is on the whole person, with special emphasis on how the mind is connected directly to the body and how a person thinks, feels and acts. Emphasis will be on wellness, with symptoms seen as calls to self-realization.
