About Sujata Venkatraman

Serial entrepreneur with interests and experience in O&G Exploration and Technology. I am specifically interested in how we can collaborate across disciplines to foster innovation. I have successfully built many inter-disciplinary teams that have excelled in providing unique solutions and ideas. I was one of the first women field observer/field engineer in the Asia Pacific region for a major oilfield service company and this unique opportunity informs my views of inclusivity regardless of gender, orientation, background and university degrees. I have over 30 years of experience in Oil and Gas exploration with expertise in building innovative seismic datasets that can reveal new plays in basins around the world. I am the founder of Dynamic Group, a company devoted to exploring in areas with significant new play potential by deploying new ideas and technology. Dynamic has been a partner to several successful Governments and E&P companies in its quest to further exploration and geologic understanding. My technology company Saape Designs Inc. provides end-to-end IoT solutions for everyday problems. From wearables to flexible hardware, data analytics to solutions, Saape is interested in solving problems that will make our world safer, more sustainable and environment-friendly. Besides O&G and Technology, I am a big devotee of Yoga and Meditation, having practiced it for over 40 years. I teach Yoga to students in the Houston area or online, focussing on their therapeutic needs. I also offer special training for students who wish to deepen their practice. I have a Master\'s degree in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and love to write, paint and do karate.

   Dynamic Group

   Jan 2007 — Present

   Founder, President and CEO of Dynamic Group focused on the US Gulf of Mexico. Dynamic Group consists of DG Exploration (DGX) and Dynamic Data Services (DDS)- DGX was awarded 14 blocks in Sale 257. These 14 blocks straddle 6 prospects in Miocene targets offshore Louisiana and range from 50-500mmboe- DDS is a multi-client seismic data provider in offshore Gulf of Mexico. The heart of DDS data library is a unique miles of 2D dataset called SuperCache. To this, we have added of vintage 2D and sq.miles of 3D dataset to provide a comprehensive understanding of the entire margin. DDS also has of data in Mexico. All data is provided in depth and available for immediate delivery- Provided advisory and interpretative services to National Government agencies such as Sonangol and other E&P Majors- Responsible for Dynamic\'s acquisition of mineral rights over sq.km of deepwater Kenya with Anadarko Petroleum as our partners. Conducted all aspects of negotiations in subsequent sale to Total in 2011.
