ABOUT SUJANE KANDASAMY
I am an intersectional environmentalist who studies early origins and prevention of chronic disease (cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes) and chronic disease risk factors across the life-course, with a special focus on Indigenous Peoples health and the health of immigrants/newcomers. I am committed to the implementation of collaborative community-based partnerships to collect and deliver evidence-based knowledge using culturally-authentic vehicles.
