About Suja Senan
NEW\" is what ignites my curious scientific acumen. The potential to learn cutting edge technology in the area of food science and apply them for the wellness of human kind has always been a calling for me. This quest has led my non linear career path from academia to industry. A common thread that runs through the course is functional foods and fad technology. I have amassed more than 15 years of development of mid to long term strategic projects based on technical knowhow and industry insights. eg value added fermented dairy and non dairy products, metagenomics and faecal microbiome analyses, nanoencapsulated core shell models to deliver functional ingredients, natural antimicrobials for meat and bakery applications, fermented juice and juice drinks, etc.My professional career have honed my skills of analytical and disruptive thinking, active learning, problem solving and ideation. Personally, I am passionate about inspiring young girls to join STEM, and strive to be a proponent of inclusivity, equity and diversity.
