As a Data Scientist at Virginia State Police, I build end-to-end data and AI systems—from architecting Snowflake platforms and designing scalable data pipelines to developing machine learning models and LLM-powered tools. My work focuses on turning complex, sensitive data into actionable insights that actually get used by leadership (not just dashboards that look pretty and get ignored). I’ve led the development of production-ready AI solutions and executive-level analytics that support critical decision-making across finance and criminal data systems—proving that data science can go beyond experimentation and deliver real operational impact. I hold a Master’s in Data Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where I specialized in machine learning, NLP, and large-scale data systems. Before this, I worked on impactful projects with organizations like the FDA and U.S. Census Bureau, building AI-driven solutions in healthcare and public-sector domains. With experience spanning data engineering to AI, I enjoy solving complex problems, building systems end-to-end, and occasionally doing the job of three roles under one title—because “Data Scientist” felt too simple.
