ABOUT SUHELA KAPOOR

I\'m a translational neuroscientist working at the intersection of technology, health and innovation. An adventurer at heart, travels across the globe and philosophy for the soul keep me moving. My current venture involves integrating AI to provide personalized healthcare solutions. We utilize AI/ML, Block chain technology and Big Data analytics, to ensure advancement in healthcare, globally. Prior to this, I was awarded the prestigious TATA Trust research fellowship to investigate impact of environmental exposures such as indoor air pollution on child neurodevelopment, using neuroimaging and neuropsychiatric tools on a population of vulnerable children in rural and semi-urban parts of India. I have consulted for several organizations including healthcare companies and also India\'s leading gaming companies, providing my expertise in data sciences, neuroscience and cognition. From 20••••19, at the Centre of Environmental Health (CEH), Public Health Foundation of India my effort were focused on understanding the impact of environmental exposures such as air pollution and WASH on neuro-developmental outcomes using participatory research methods combined with technology-enabled tools. I supported the mental health team for design of protocols for early assessment of cognitive impairment in children, using EEG and gaming. Even while pursuing my research thesis, I always tried to stay connected to the actual beneficiary i.e. the patient and keep them at the core of my innovation. For my clinical research training I interned at the Dept. of Neurology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences. To combine my professional and personal joys, I volunteer for children with autism.
