Process Mechanical Engineer position which involved me working with various pharmaceutical companies.I worked on numerous projects at different stages including FEED (Front End), BOD (Basic Design) and DD (Detailed Design).• Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P & IDs)• Performing pump, line, and equipment sizing calculations• Creating datasheets for pumps, heat exchangers and filters• Sizing utilities for Purified Water, Water for Injection, Pure Steam, Compressed Air, and Waste• Conducting site surveys at client locations• Reviewing and verifying deliverables from other engineers• Drafting User Requirement Specifications (URS)• Attending client meetings to discuss project needs• Creating line and valve schedules• Collaborating with other disciplines to meet process requirements• Procuring CIP, TCU, parts washers, and vacuum pump packages, including preparing technical specifications, URS reviews, RFQ packages, and participating in vendor meetings• Performing pump calculations and producing corresponding datasheets• Creating datasheets and calculations for heat exchangers• Specifying and listing warehouse equipment• Managing and updating equipment lists• Conducting layout reviews• Performing cost analysis on various packages• Reviewing 3D building models for project alignment• Training of graduate engineers• Creating and teaching courses internally to all members of IPS.
