10+ Years of experience working in a quality department.I worked as a Head-Quality as well as welding engineer and I was a responsible person for all welding activities commenced at the workshop. I am Well versed with the knowledge of welding of exotic metals like titanium, nickel and its alloys, weld overlay of non-ferrous metal on ferrous metals. I am also having good knowledge of fabrication and inspection of cladded equipment. Having hands on fabrication with batten strip arrangement in Titanium cladded equipment. Planning the quality control activities within the allocated budget. I am having experience of the establishment of a quality system for a new organization. I have led the shop approval audits like ASME (U stamp), NBBI (R Endorsement), IBR, EIL, ISO, RIL and client’s approval audits. I was represented as a Head-Quality and Welding engineer during the ASME approval audit. I have prepared a quality control manual, Quality test procedures like Heat treatment, Hydrotest procedure, Pneumatic test procedure, calibration procedure, Coded marking procedure, Welding consumable handling procedure, Written practice for training, qualification and certification of NDE personnel. Responsible to issue and satisfactorily disposal of non-conformity.Arranging the time-to-time awareness training to the welders. I am having good knowledge in the tube to tubesheet mockup qualification as per ASME Section IX, Div.1, EIL and tkIS. Preparing WPS, PQR, WPQ.I have set up a dust free enclosure (DFE) for my previous organization from initial stage to final acceptance from customer (RIL). Also prepared procedures required for handling of titanium, phenanthroline test, ferroxyl test, anodizing of titanium surface, puddle test and forming procedure for titanium and its alloys.I also plan the fabrication activities at the shop floor. I am well versed with the manufacturing stages of Heat exchangers, Pressure vessels, Reactors, and Columns. Attending the pre-order meeting and giving technical support during bidding and order finalization stages. Inspection and expediting of equipment fabricated at the sub vendor’s place. Raw material follow up, subcontracting activities, Presenting project status to customers in review meetings. Identifying the issue where sub vendors are struggling and supporting in planning resources. Dealing with NCR and followup till closure. Preparing technical delivery conditions, Pre-dispatch dossier review.
