Business Analyst on 100 CRDE Risk data aggregation and reporting project. Aim of this project to identify and record the data lineage of Critical Risk Data Element and verify that information is from the right source and necessary controls are established. My role includes:• Analysis of reports / insights to verify Metrics, identification of new Metrics• Coordination with report / metric owners to obtain sign off on CRDEs and CRDE definitions.• Conducting requirement gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders to identify data sources, data lineage and existing controls for CRDEs.• Analysis of SAS Base data models & User defined application to identify data sources & existing data flows.• Verification of data sources from by querying target database using SQL and confirmation of data elements.• Documenting Business Data Flows (BDF), performing Controls Assessment activities and presenting these deliverables to larger audience for endorsement.
