ABOUT SUE PATERNOSTER

A highly effective and business focused HR professional with a strategic approach, Sue brings over 25 years experience in Human Resource Management and Development, the last 20 of which have been spent working alongside and influencing directly Boards of Directors at both Divisional and Company level. Her strengths are in organisational development and change, working on forward-looking HR strategies to meet business goals, developing policy and practice in all areas of the HR arena, including recruitment and reward, to meet both legislative and business needs; preparing, communicating and implementing action plans where she brings an innovative and pragmatic approach. She has a broad knowledge of operational HR having dealt with many different cases from dealing with complex harassment and disciplinary cases and Employment Tribunals. She has led a number of TUPE transfers, the largest being 800 staff across 6 geographically dispersed sites, managed redundancy programmes and a site closure, all of which have involved consultation and negotiation with Trades Unions at local, regional and national level.
