About Sue Nigra

Growing up, my father taught me the importance of embracing your passion while helping others. I\'ve always loved storytelling; first through music and community theater - and then as a broadcast journalist for close to 20 years. A lot has happened since then. I’ve advocated for physicians, women, children and families and so many others with stories to tell. I even helped launch an arts center named after my dad.and how cool is that!

   At Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region (RMHC-CR), we provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare. I consider it an honor and a privilege to raise awareness and financial support for this beloved organization. RMHC-CR receives no government funding. All programs and services are provided completely free of charge to families - thanks to the generous support of our partners in the community. A major part of my role is to really listen to prospective supporters (from individual donors to business leaders) to connect their passions to our needs.
