The largest LGBTQ blog in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents provides coverage on a range of social, political and economic issues related to the LGBT Qcommunity. This blog broke ground in Pittsburgh as the first LGBTQ blog to be \"blogrolled\" by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, first to be featured in multiple local publications and landing myself a spot in the historic nationwide LGBT Bloggers Initiative. We also broke ground by providing the first live-blog of a Pittsburgh City Council hearing along with live tweeting multiple critical LGBTQ political and social events. Our current blogging team includes three contributors and myself, the editor and chief blogger- Finalist, Oustanding Blog, GLAAD 29th Annual Media Awards, 2018- Best Local Blogger, Pgh City Paper, 2016 - Best GLBT Social Media 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017- 16 Pittsburgh Media Mavens to Follow, 2014- Favorite GLBT Media Publication, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016- Contributor, BlogHer - Contributor, Huffington Post- Contributor, Bilerico Project- Contributor, Patch.com
