ABOUT SUE COOPER

I am a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, Holistic Lifestyle Coach with over four decades of Registered Nurse experience in clinical care, management and eduction. I qualified from The Chopra Centre for Well-being as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Educator under the founder Dr Deepak Chopra. For 12 years I have been exploring through travel and volunteering, natural healing modalities from indigenous cultures around the world, their applications to modern day self care and the fusion with scientific research from health care, also known as integrative care. Globally, As founder of Moments of Mass Mindfulness (MOMM) and Self Care World, I continue to evolve a framework that Integrates self care and health care through natural practices, arts and the sciences. I am co-director of Feast for the Soul, a 40 day spiritual immersive in its 17th year running from 15th January to 23rd February and I am a co-founder of a new and vibrant initiative to bring communities together to ‘human well’ Living Cities Earth. Nationally I have been invited by the Charter for Compassion to be the holistic steward of a Charter 2.0 for launch on 12th November 2025. Locally I am an Ambassador to Nottinghamshire Hospice, Nottingham Mindfulness Group and non-exec director of the Positively Empowered Kids CIC (PEK). We all work actively to continue to inspire positive Well-being in communities. I am an active member of the Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy’s Commonwealth Group focusing on the integration of all citizens having voice and collaborating in communities. I love what I do and trust that as we find each other with open hearts and minds, together we will birth a more inclusive, kind and loving world for our children and those yet to be born.
