When you look at my varied roles all together, they might not seem aligned. But they all share my commitment as an expert to tell folks what they *need* to hear, not just what they want to hear. But I do it with love and good humor(!) so they know I\'m on their side. Salty wisdom abounds in my various roles of Legal leader + Law school professor + Career counselor + Persistent optimist -)As a career catalyst, I am a firm believer that there\'s always something better suited for folks feeling stuck. I delight in helping professionals get intentional about what they want, set realistic goals with workable milestones, and develop creative options to move themselves forward. Then, the best part: encouraging them to advocate for themselves to realize their unique goals and achieve a more fulfilling career with leadership presence and impact. I\'m convinced all of us have to continually evolve our skills and mindset to support ongoing growth. Sometimes it\'s possible where we are today (hurray!). Other times, new challenges or meaningful growth require us to muster courage and move on. Either way, I am an ACTIVE cheerleader for career evolution (and sometimes even REVolution)!I enjoy speaking to groups and facilitating workshops on strong self-advocacy skills such as:>owning your story + finding your voice>creating undeniable presence for maximum impact>positive communication [balancing candor and civility]>confidently asking for what you want in your career [painless negotiations]>managing up without the Ick>the art + hard science of resumes and LinkedIn profiles>coaching for intentional/impactful interviews In my Wells Fargo world, I provide practical guidance in support of my operations clients to collectively identify, assess, mitigate and manage risks. I currently lawyer for groups in the Chief Administrative Office, but in my lengthy career with Wells Fargo I\'ve had many roles: regulatory and legal issues for technology, info sec issues, policy, IP, cloud computing, privacy, renewable energy, sustainability, WF\'s third party program, real estate & property management, safety & health, incident management, and of course physical corporate security. The best part? EVERY DAY IS DIFFERENT: delightful!(Plus, I adore my boss - she\'s wonderful)
