ABOUT SUE ATTEWELL
As Head of AI at Jisc, I co-lead national work to help UK colleges and universities adopt artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively. My focus is on turning staff and student insight into strategy, and supporting institutions through training, consultancy and sector collaboration.Our work supports sector-wide AI maturity through guidance, research, pilots and communities of practice. We provide institutions with the tools and insight to move from experimentation to sustainable, ethical implementation of AI.Key areas of focus include:•Capturing staff and student perceptions of AI to shape national guidance and policy influence.• Supporting institutions through training, consultancy and active AI communities.• Showcasing good practice and innovation across FE and HE• Expanding our activities into professional servicesI’m always keen to connect with colleagues and institutions exploring the opportunities and challenges of AI in education.
