27 years’ experience working with both private and Plc home builders across England and Scotland, with 24 years at Director level, covering a number of disciplines including; Regional Managing Director, National Sales & Marketing Director, Regional Sales & Marketing Director and Non-Executive Director for Wigan and Leigh Homes (ALMO & Registered Provider). All of which have helped me gather an in depth understanding of the dynamics of the housing market, the development process and the challenges and opportunities within both the private and public sector.With an established track record as a Managing Director, I’ve overseen regional growth through the successful establishment of new regions, managing regional annual outputs of up to 700 units and turnovers of up to £150m, providing an improved position on key performance targets and developing new regional boards. I have developed businesses with varied portfolios across the sector including homebuilding for private sale, regeneration and affordable contracting including the management and delivery of JCT and NEC contracts secured through formal tenders and frameworks. As part of this work I have negotiated and managed the delivery of multiple JV projects with Homes England and key registered providers developing new JV models to facilitate delivery and growth.I also have experience at national board level having held the position of National Sales and Marketing Director, developing and overseeing the delivery of national sales and marketing strategies across the UK, driving innovation through digital platforms and the development of new customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
