Susan Walsh is responsible for Sterling Heritage Corporation’s marketing and business development. She is also responsible for executive recruiting and placing employees in positions supporting Sterling Heritage’s clients. Sue is currently spearheading Sterling Heritage’s expansion into a new area of Government consulting, Wellness and Organic Foods. Sue has always had a special interest in promoting healthy food and nutrition. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Health and Wellness from Trinity University and her lifelong passion has been focused in this area. Sue will be marketing to the Federal Agencies involved in health, nutrition and agriculture with the goal of assisting our client’s efforts to promote a healthier population. Sue moved to Washington D.C. in the early 80’s and began working on Capitol Hill for Representative Barbara B. Kennelly (D-Conn). She left the Hill to raise three children. Sue has always enjoyed the social aspects of marketing and intuitive aspects of hiring people. To date she has been successful at understanding the Government client’s needs and wants with a unique talent to match highly qualified people that possess the skills, abilities, personality traits and aspirations that exceed the client’s goals. She understands the depth of people’s genuine interest in their work and the desire to make a client’s work easier and more successful. Marketing is large portion of Sue’s job because she is naturally comfortable and relaxed with people and finds marketing for Sterling Heritage to be a pleasure rather than work. As a member of many professional organizations in the Washington, D.C. area, Sue attends breakfast meetings, lunches and follow up coffee’s as an integral and necessary part of growing Sterling Heritage. Sue believes that being there in person, meeting colleagues and getting a feel for another company face to face is critical to building teaming relationships.
