Sue Stuckwisch is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations, LLC and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee for Disputes and Investigations. Ms. Stuckwisch has testified in Federal and State Courts in matters involving patent infringement, the Lanham Act, false advertising, trade secret theft, class actions, employment litigation, fraud and complex commercial litigation.With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Stuckwisch has worked with clients across a wide range of industries including computer software and hardware, design automation, semiconductor, software-as-a-service, consumer products, telecom, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, digital streaming, logistics, transportation, fleet telematics, waste & recycling, oil & gas, energy, retail, medical devices, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, biotech, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, gaming, fantasy sports, entertainment, education, aviation, shipbuilding, and defense.Ms. Stuckwisch has testified, written expert reports, provided advice, and assisted clients throughout the litigation process in intellectual property, class actions, complex commercial litigation, employment, and antitrust matters. These matters involve claims of patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, trademark and copyright infringement, Lanham Act violations, false advertising, False Claims Act (FCA) violations, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, wage and hour issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and state law (e.g, misclassification, unpaid overtime, meal and rest break violations, off-the-clock work, failure to pay minimum wage, regular rate violations, inappropriate rounding, and tipping violations), wrongful termination, hostile workplace, discrimination and harassment claims (e.g, Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), etc.), retaliation and whistleblower claims, price fixing, collusion, lender liability, predatory lending, Rule 10b-5 damages, insider trading, options backdating, product liability, natural resource damage assessments (NRDA), and property value diminution. Ms. Stuckwisch taught graduate level classes on the quantification of environmental damages including the use of regression analysis at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UC - Santa Barbara.
