Since re-entering the professional insurance industry I have been responsible for the claims management of a number of portfolios. My current role includes interfacing with Underwriters, including amendments and interpretation of bespoke policy wordings. Designing SLA’s and ensuring company wide compliance by Loss Adjusters; direct performance management and regular reviews. I have my own property and commercial claims from cradle to the grave, engaging specialist service suppliers to achieve equitable settlements in a timely manner. I have a small team of claim handlers and I take responsibility for their development and training needs, hopefully encouraging and enabling them to ensure service level performance measures are consistently exceeded.
