About Sue Grepper
As the West Coast Director of Business Development at InSphero, I help pharma, biotech, and academic researchers advance their drug discovery and development projects using our cutting-edge 3D microtissues technology. With over 20 years of experience in cell biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology, I have a deep understanding of the scientific and clinical challenges in toxicology, metabolic disease, and oncology. A majority of my time is spent conveying the benefits/limitations of different research strategies to key opinion leaders in different areas of research.My passion for understanding and conveying treatments for diseases started with my PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Arizona, where I focused on liver toxicity and disease. I then expanded my knowledge and skills in other disease areas during my postdoc at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where I studied neuroscience and Alzheimer\'s disease. Since then, I have worked as a senior scientist, an application scientist, and a scientific ambassador for leading life science companies, supporting researchers with innovative solutions and best practices. At InSphero, I leverage my expertise and network to drive the adoption and impact of our 3D microtissues platform, which enables more realistic and predictive models for drug testing and screening.
