Hi, I’m Sudristi Basnet, a motivated Computer Science student at the University of Texas at Dallas (Class of 2028) with a passion for solving problems and building impactful solutions through technology. With a strong foundation in programming and real-world experience, I’m driven to make a difference in the tech world while inspiring others to do the same. Over the past few years, I’ve gained hands-on experience through multiple software engineering internships with Atlassian, where I contributed to projects like enabling dark mode for Bitbucket and creating audit log features to improve user accessibility. I’ve also honed my skills in programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React, while exploring tools like Salesforce, GitHub, and Jira. As the founder of Computer Science With Girls, I strive to close the gender gap in tech by providing resources and inspiration to young women interested in pursuing computer science. Through initiatives like online programs, hackathon guidance, and mentorship opportunities, I aim to empower the next generation of female tech leaders. Beyond academics and professional endeavors, I’m an active member of organizations like Key Club, National Honor Society, and Robotics Club. My leadership and teamwork skills shine through roles like Secretary of Key Club, where I manage meetings and organize interactive activities, and as a programmer in the Robotics Club, where I help design functional solutions for competition challenges.
