ABOUT SUDISH MISHRA
With a strong academic foundation and a passion for advancing material science, I have submitted my Ph.D. thesis in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur, where my research focuses on laser spectroscopy, welding metallurgy, corrosion behavior, and microstructural analysis. My work integrates both theoretical understanding and experimental investigation, utilizing advanced tools such as SEM, XRD, and DSC-TGA to explore the performance and integrity of pipeline steels and corrosion-resistant alloys in marine environments. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently demonstrated analytical precision, scientific curiosity, and a deep commitment to research excellence. My MTech from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad further strengthened my expertise in microstructure-property relationships, while my B.E. instilled in me a hands-on approach to problem-solving through innovative projects and technical competitions. Beyond academics, I have actively contributed to institutional development through leadership roles such as Sponsorship and Food Management Head at the FMFP Conference, and as the Ph.D. Placement Representative, roles that have sharpened my communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
