A seasoned Strategy & Partnerships professional with proven expertise in crafting & delivering growth strategies and leading high-impact partnership-led global initiatives across industries. In his current role as the Global head of Strategic Initiatives, he owns and leads the strategy planning & execution for the Google Cloud partnership business globally. As a part of his responsibilities, he leads the Go-To-Market initiatives for a portfolio of partnership-led technology & industry-aligned Plays (solutions), driving client business transformations, thereby enabling pipeline & revenue growth for the organization. Collaborating with multiple internal & external stakeholders, including CXO’s/business heads, he governs performance against key business metrics and monitors gaps while seeking out opportunities for future growth through industry analysis & thought leadership. Internally, he also leads the organizational design charter for the Partnership Business Groups with its associated operating models and Roles & Responsibilities structures. Additionally, he is also an accomplished Strategic Management scholar & a thought leader, having original research published in top-tier global journals (A* ranking on ABDC scale), other leading practitioner outlets, and research recognized at global top management conferences (including Academy of Management Annual Conferences). He is also a winner of awards for original research papers presented at management conferences. Deeply connected to academia he continues to pursue joint industry-academia collaborative research on topics of high contemporary industry relevance. His areas of research interest include (but are not limited to) Digital Transformation, Business Models, Outsourcing of Services, Dynamic Capabilities, Alliance Ecosystems, Service Productization and Servitization.
