Product: MCB & Wiring Devices 1. As part of NPI (new product introduction) & Plant Project Team, responsible for industrialization deliverables for NPI & Plant Projects. Responsible for the Development & Industrialization of the OEM products/parts which include moulds and tool development, process development and manufacturing readiness for various products at plant and supplier end. Develop parts (Plastic, Sheet - Metal, others) till pre pilot and pilot assy. Initial Costing of the parts, product & optimization. Analyze & calculate the capacity requirement for capacity moulds and metal tools, assy fixtures, testing fixture, layout in close coordination with plant and supplier teams. Analyse the design and estimate the cost of injection moulds and press tools and other custom-made components & /or product required. Organize and participate DFMEA/PFMEA and implement the outcome of the same in the Design/Manufacturing. Specify the mould, press tools specifications and lead the development including the vendors & cost with close coordination with purchase and supplier team. Kick off the moulds, press tools & other tools and part developments. Review the moulds & tools design. Ensure that moulds, tools & parts are developed to meet the quality and project schedule. Validate the moulds, tools & manufacturing process via PPAP process. Process Design and development which include the Jig. Fixture requirements, testing machine and automation requirements. Define the process parameter\'s and validate the parameters. Handover the NPI/Plant project for regular manufacturing at OEM supplier or in plant.
