30+ years of broad-based global investment experience, which includes leading global investment organizations, advising long-term investment institutions on building global investment operations, formulating and implementing investment policies, and hands-on experience with investing in global bond markets, private equity and project finance investments, and corporate finance and privatization advisory engagements- Served as CEO of New York-based UN\'s Office of Investment Management responsible for managing US$70+ billion global investment portfolio of UN Joint Staff Pension Fund (85% of which is actively managed in-house), invested in over 100 countries and 27 currencies, across public and private market asset classes including global equities, global fixed income, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, timber, and commodities- Initiated and led global pension investment advisory program at the World Bank Treasury, Washington, DC, responsible for advising public pension funds and other long-horizon, multi-asset class investment institutions seeking to build global investment operations- Served as a senior adviser to several official-sector funds and institutions- Served as a senior member of team managing US$100+ billion multi-asset class portfolios of the World Bank Group, other official-sector institutions, and World Bank pension funds- With International Finance Corporation (IFC), Washington, DC, led teams originating and executing private equity and project finance investments, as well as fee-based corporate finance and privatization advisory mandates, in emerging markets in Asia and Europe- Co-editor and an author of the book \"Governance and Investment of Public Pension Assets: Practitioners’ Perspectives\" published by the World Bank- Chair Emeritus (2024 onwards), International Centre for Pension Management (ICPM), Toronto, Canada - global network of 50+ pension and related long-term investors responsible for US$8 trillion in assets Served as Board Chair and Chair, Audit & Governance Committee (2020-23), Board Vice-Chair and Chair of various Committees (2015-20), and Board Member (2012-15)- Member, Advisory Committee on Investments, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Rome, Italy, and World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva, Switzerland- Previously served as Member of Investment Committees at WFP, Rome, Italy, and UNOPS, Copenhagen, Denmark.
