About Sudhir Rao

Most of my time currently goes into completing my undergraduate triple degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. However, during my first year, I learnt that science wasn’t for me. So I turned to writing after having experienced publishing my research paper on modelled proteins in Tuberculosis bacterium. My first attempt at writing for competitions came in 2020 during the lockdown, wherein I placed 4th all over India in an online fest held by Loyola Academy, Kurukshetra. In various other events held within my university, I have claimed top positions in those competitions. I prefer literary fiction over other forms of fiction writing, wherein my stories are character-focused rather than plot-focused. Consequently, I do not produce similar results in expository writing or journalistic writing, or even scientific papers in that case. However, I plan to take up challenges that allow me to grow my writing holistically. Besides this, in academics, I am consistent with my work. I have a merit certificate in General English, scoring 86/100 and placing above 1,700+ students. People I have worked with have commended my ability to orate and present, my interpersonal communication in professional settings, and my ability to stick true to my stakes. I aspire to be a novelist after I complete my certificate education. My first novel arrives in 2023.
