   Looking after research programs in NovaLead that include identification and development of new indications for existing drugs. Headed the team that discovered and developed Galnobax topical gel for treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Also discovered NLP91 for treatment of psoriasis which is under development. The activities include conduct of phase I/II and phase clinical trials, formulation development, conduct of pre-clinical studies, protecting intellectual properties associated with the product. Interested in pursuing new products that can be delivered via topical route of administration.NovaLead Pharma Pvt. Ltd, has received approval from CDSCO for manufacture and sales of Galnobax for treatment of diabetic foot ulcers in India after completion of Phase 3 clinical trial. The trial achieved statistical significance for its primary and secondary endpoints in terms proportion complete ulcer closure. The study also demonstrated that Galnobax showed significant ulcer closure over Standard of Care (SoC) in subjects having factors that impede wound healing such as high BMI, high HbA1c, old ulcer, poor hemoglobin, poor albumin, low ABI, low eGFR and subjects with history of hypertension. Galnobax significantly reduced time to reach no exudate status for ulcers.
