About Sudhindra Duvvuri
I am a Big Data Technical Architect currently working in Wipro Limited. Having joined the IT industry in 2008 as a campus hire to IBM India Pvt. Ltd, I was trained as a Mainframe developer. Upon allocation of a project, I was trained on an IEF tool called Coolgen which is a code generator on various platforms(in IBM, I was into a telecom domain project for an Australian client and developed software for the billing application of the client company using the Coolgen tool on the mainframe platform).In 2011, I moved to Mphasis Pvt. Ltd. and worked as a Coolgen developer on the mainframe project(again on the billing application of a telecom project) but this time around as a Senior Systems Engineer.I moved to Atos Syntel in 2013(then it was Syntel Pvt. Ltd) also as a Coolgen developer into a healthcare project for an American client as a Project Lead. I was leading a team of 8-10 people and our work model alternated between the Waterfall and Agile methodologies.I started studying Big Data around 2015 and towards the end of 2017, I moved into a Big Data project in Syntel compromising of a development team of 6 resources(4 offshore, 2 onshore) which I was a part of till June, 2021.I moved to Wipro Limited in June, 2021 to a role of a Big Data Architect for a Telecom project and have been a part of it till date. My current skill set includes: Apache Spark, Flink, NiFi. Airflow, Hive-HBase, Hadoop, Kafka and other Big Data tools.
