Job responsibilities include:• Use 6-Sigma Methodology for process improvement and eliminate quality defects• Worked on GM’s 2026 upcoming new program & assisted in garnish prototype parts and assembly at component level from TT to SOP and after launch support• Performed Gage R&R, process capability study and review Gages for new program launch• Participate in cross functional team for Practical Problem-Solving Report (PPSR) and perform Root Cause Analysis using 5Whys and Fishbone diagram• Monitor and review customer complaints on GQTS & Supplier Improvement Matrix (SIM)• Participate in 5-Phase and 8D response for customer concerns• Develop, communicate & manage Quality Alerts and Controlled Shipping level 1 (CS1), CS2 and CS3• Establish a Poka-Yoke process for Mistake & Error proofing to have maximum yield• Ensure service parts meet GM CCA service requirements• Performed-First/Last piece part approval and in-process inspection• Create/update Operator Instructions, Cell layouts, packaging instructions, B.O.M and Gage instructions• Monitor/maintain Quality Hold Areas, including reporting status and recording defects for scrap• Monitor & Analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities & problems to enhance the manufacturing process.
