ABOUT SUDHANSHU SHEKHAR

I am Sudhanshu Shekhar, currently working as a Senior Mainframe Developer at HTC Global Services in Bangalore. With a career objective to leverage my technical, functional, and behavioral skills to drive growth and innovation within the organization, I am dedicated to maximizing team performance and delivering exceptional results on tasks assigned. I bring solid experience in wmA and Vantage One applications in the Insurance domain and Société Générale banking applications in the Banking domain.With over 7 years of professional IT experience in large-scale application systems in the Insurance Domain and Banking Domain, I possess strong program analysis skills that are essential for successfully migrating projects from Mainframe to Big data or ETL. My excellent understanding of business requirements and translating them into formal technical requirements and design enables me to excel in my role.As a quick learner, I can gain extensive knowledge about Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and REXX in a short period. I have experience in development from scratch, unit testing, enhancement, debugging, & coordination with onshore counterparts. Currently working with the client Société Générale (French Bank), I was a key member of the migration team for the Société Générale banking project, working directly with BA and Big Data developers to provide timely and actionable analysis.I have gained extensive experience working in both the traditional Waterfall model and the Agile methodology, allowing me to be adaptable to different project management approaches. I possess solid problem-solving, logic-building, and technical skills, along with excellent verbal and written skills, especially with regard to presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. My good interpersonal and communication skills enable me to work effectively in a global team.In terms of accomplishments, I am certified in Mainframe technologies - COBOL, JCL, DB2, & SQL from CTS and have received the International Coach Federation Certified Life Coach certification. I also have good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel sheets and have been rewarded three times with the Star of the Quarter title. Additionally, I have received accolades from Team Leads and Managers, and have organized events for the Cognizant Outreach Team. I am a volunteer of the DXC-Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team and am actively contributing to India’s leading NGO, ‘BHUMI,’ while also serving as an active volunteer of the Société Générale CSR team.
