About Sudhan Nagarajan

With an enormous interest in Solid State Electrochemistry, my current research focuses on understanding the structure–property relationships of potential cathode materials free from critical raw materials using advanced synchrotron spectroscopy probes, operando neutron diffraction tools, and microscopy investigations for next-generation alkali metal-ion and metal batteries at Wayne State University. I have been actively utilizing scientific facilities at Brookhaven, Argonne, Berkeley, and Oak Ridge National Laboratories since my graduate research. My undergraduate training at CECRI provided a strong foundation in electrochemical energy storage systems, especially supercapacitors and batteries, through hands-on involvement in multiple research projects.I strongly believe that my academic research experience has provided a solid platform to drive real-world impact. As an NSF I-Corps alum (Entrepreneurial Lead), I focus on technology de-risking and early-stage commercialization of electrochemical and battery materials innovations through technology translation, customer discovery, and market validation.Imagination is the Pillar of InnovationSudhan N
