ABOUT SUDHA MENON

Specialties: I am invited to speak with diversity groups at multinational companies about a range of subjects including women, leadership and diversity issues.I am also an actor and model and have recently done afs for Renault, Dove, Ujjivan Bank among others I have developed my own writing workshop, Get Writing, that help aspiring writers kick-start their writing journey.Over the last few years I have held several of these workshops that are attended by aspiring writers across age groups and professions. I am the founder of (Writing With Women), a writing workshop where I get women from diverse backgrounds together and help them to pen down their stories. I believe it is important for women to document their lives because if they don\'t, we lose a precious slice of history and a close look at the social/cultural realities of their life and times. I have held my writing workshops at some of India\'s best-known business houses and instituions including Axis Bank and Ashok Leyland, to much appreciation and great feedback. Writing can be a powerful tooI to build teams and organisations. Over the last few years I have customized my Get Writing workshops to pull teams together, help them brainstorm and get fresh, innovative ideas on the table. One of the biggest hurdles to progress at the workplace is the inability to express ourselves, articulate ideas with clarity. It is ideas that give organisations the extra edge and the people who are able to get their ideas across lucidly are the ones who progress rapidly. Over the years I have held Get Writing workshops at large organisations including Capgemini India, Persistent Systems, BMC Software and SAP India.
