I am a computer vision enthusiast, skilled at researching, implementing, training, and deploying deep learning models to deliver state-of-the-art outcomes in domains such as medical imaging, autonomous vehicles, aerial imaging, cognitive understanding, among many more.    Jun 2022 — Present · Seattle, WA, US

   Joined the Lambda Snapshot Control Plane team coming from ML research, eager to understand building systems at massive scale. Lambda turned out to be the perfect place to learn.My primary focus has been Lambda SnapStart, AWS\'s flagship performance feature reducing Java cold start latency by 90%. Working on this taught me JVM optimization at cloud scale and the careful balance between performance gains and resource utilization. Being part of shipping core components for a feature impacting millions of serverless applications has been incredibly rewarding.I\'ve also driven operational excellence for the feature\'s global expansion. I built automation cutting regional deployment times from two weeks to 3-5 days, a 70% improvement critical as we expanded into new AWS regions. This required close collaboration with teams across AWS, from EC2 to CloudFormation, teaching me how services interconnect at infrastructure level.I led the service\'s migration from static certificates to AWS-managed TLS infrastructure, essential for expanding into compliance-critical GovCloud regions while maintaining zero downtime.I\'ve also improved internal productivity with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions that cut development environment setup from days to hours. It\'s fascinating seeing how the same principles that make Lambda great for customers; rapid provisioning, reliability, automation, also apply to our own development processes.
