About Tyler Walker

As a Hampton University graduate with a background in Environmental Studies and Business Management, I have always been interested in the connection between environmental responsibility, community impact, and practical decision-making. I am now building on that foundation as a Master of Science candidate in Environmental Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, with an expected graduation in August 2026.My experience has helped me understand that environmental work is not only about identifying problems, but also about developing realistic solutions that organizations, communities, and stakeholders can act on. I bring a balance of environmental knowledge, business awareness, and a willingness to keep learning as I continue growing in this field.I am interested in opportunities that allow me to support sustainability, restoration, environmental planning, and community engagement projects. Whether working independently or with a team, I aim to contribute thoughtful, organized, and purpose-driven work that supports both environmental goals and broader organizational success.I am excited to connect with others in the environmental field and explore opportunities to continue learning, contributing, and making a meaningful impact.

I assist with agricultural, wetland, and riparian restoration events across Maryland by transporting trees and equipment from CBF’s Clagett Farm tree nursery, helping coordinate volunteers during planting events, and maintaining nursery stock. I also support stewardship activities at Clagett Farm, monitor previously planted restoration sites, help recruit volunteers, and assist with outreach efforts related to regenerative agriculture and sustainable land stewardship.
