About Subramanya Subbu Padmanabha

With over 20 years of industry experience in developing healthcare devices, solutions, and mobile software, I am a senior and quality-driven IT R&D professional who leads a group of talented researchers, data scientists, and software architects at Philips Research. My mission is to deliver impactful value propositions and provide technical proof-of-concepts in the area of connected healthcare, using cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML, signal processing, data lake platforms, and software engineering.In my previous roles at Philips, I have successfully led various product development teams working on ultrasound hardware and software platforms and solutions, applying both waterfall and scaled agile framework (SAFe) methodologies. I have also rich experience in architecting, designing, and developing mobile software platforms, having worked for Nokia and Freescale Semiconductor in the past. I am passionate about people leadership, functional leadership, and business leadership, and I focus on competency management, resource and budget planning, and coaching and career development of individuals.
