ABOUT SUBORNADEEP BHATTACHARJEE
Subornadeep holds an LL.M. degree (with Distinction) from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London specialising in public international law. He is a 2018 alumnus of National Law University & Judicial Academy, Assam, India. He possesses a keen interest in the intersection of constitutional law, public international law and the shaping of public policy with a special focus on climate migration, global energy and climate policy. He is passionate about examining how Indian public policy, legal and regulatory frameworks will shape up to tackle the ongoing climate emergency in the 21st century. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Law at Jindal Global Law School (India) as well as a Deputy Controller of Examinations in the Office of the Controller of Examinations, O.P. Jindal Global University (India). He has previously served as a law clerk at the Calcutta High Court for two years. It was an insightful experience working under HMJ Dipankar Datta, Judge, Supreme Court of India and HMJ Shekhar B. Saraf, Judge, High Court at Calcutta, Kolkata, India.
