He gives a unique perspective in his current role at Deloitte Tax LLP. where he utilize in-depth international tax knowledge to ensure that corporation’s international operations are reported in compliance with U.S. international tax law. Perform analyses with respect to certain transactions in support of their U.S. tax implications. Prepare and review U.S. income tax returns with respect to the corporation’s foreign operations, including forms 5471, 8865, and 8858, 926, 8621.etc. Analyze intercompany transactions, such as intercompany loans, equity, dividend and other payments, and provide comments on their U.S. tax implications. Prepare quarterly and year-end tax provisions related to international operations under U.S. Financial Accounting Standard ASC 740. Perform analyses of foreign exchange gains/losses and Subpart F and other U.S. income inclusions. Conduct studies on stock basis and earnings & profits of foreign subsidiaries. Research international tax issues and draft technical memorandums. Work closely with U.S. domestic compliance team, local country tax departments, and tax accounting team to support the U.S. tax reporting functions. Identify process improvements, implement changes, ensure best practices are in use, and assist in special projects or services as required.
