I do provide support to underwriters by assisting with the evaluation and assessment of insurance applications. This is a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the underwriting process.Responsibilities:1. Reviewing Insurance Applications:I am responsible for reviewing insurance applications to assess risk factors and determine the insurability of clients. I do carefully examine the application forms, supporting documents, and other relevant information to evaluate potential risks.2. Documentation:Accurately input data from insurance applications into the underwriting system. Need to maintain comprehensive and organized records of client information, policy details, and any modifications or endorsements.3. Risk Assessment:Assist underwriters in analyzing risk factors associated with insurance applications. Help identify potential hazards, evaluate loss history, and assess the overall risk level. This involves conducting research, collecting data, and utilizing analytical tools to support the underwriting decision-making process.4. Communication and Coordination:Effectively communicate with insurance agents, brokers, and clients to obtain missing information, clarify policy details, or request additional documentation. Also collaborate with other departments, such as claims and policy issuance, to ensure smooth and efficient underwriting operations.5. Policy Issuance and Endorsements:Assist in the issuance of insurance policies and the processing of endorsements or modifications. Verify policy details, prepare necessary documents, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.Additionally, helping client by processing error free transactions of Commercial Insurance, improving process and services for our customers by using advanced analytics, creating and maintaining daily & monthly productivity & quality report of team, added appropriate Kaizens to make process smoother which helps us to improve our TAT & AHT.Responsible for internal audit, maintaining record of all process related updates and adding those in SOP, implementing training batches of new joiners, daily work allocations, query handling, shift roster as per business requirements.You can connect with me on LinkedIn or drop me a line at g••••••••@gmail.com.
