Responsibilities: · Build detailed fundamental supply and demand database and forecasting models for cotton, pulses, feedstocks & carbon market (UKA, EUA, CCA & I-REC).· Preparation of commodities fundamental reports on various timeframes (weekly & monthly).· Price forecasting using statistical models.· Developing trading models using various technical indicators.· Monitor key macroeconomic and category specific indicators.· Support the procurement teams in defining the hedging purchasing strategy.· Gather, process, and summarize worldwide fundamental data using the company’s network and third-party information services.· Analysis of weather data and understanding the impact on commodity prices.· Building market intelligence / research reports for the commodities trading desks & global carbon markets.· Leverage data analytics to automatize market updates and price models.· New supplier identification / origination ideas.· Destination market / customer discovery.· Present data and findings to internal & external stakeholders.
