Bengaluru, IN
I work as a Research Fellow delving into the pathogenesis of ophthalmic (eye) diseases at a molecular level. I have been working on role of various mutations in RDH12 and LRAT genes resulting in degenerative retinal diseases. Moreover, the major projects that I have worked on are entitled \" Predicting Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in infants from biomarkers in their tears\",\"Immunoprofiling consortium for Covid 19: Investigation of biomarkers in serum and plasma samples of SARS-CoV-2 infected patients collected at different time points\",\"Antibody levels in serum, tear fluids and saliva after COVID-19 vaccine (Covishield)\" and \"Pseudoexfoliative Glaucoma Study\". I have also been a part of study involving effect of anti-glaucoma drugs on cornea exposed to high carbon dioxide levels (hypercapnia) which mimics the conditions arising from extensive use of mask during the COVID 19 pandemic. I am well versed in Multiplex ELISA using BD FACS Canto II Flow cytometer and Fcap Array and LEGENDplex data analysis software.
