ABOUT SUBHASIS RAY

I am a full Professor at XLRI Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, India - interested in B2B Marketing, Global Marketing and all things sustainability. At XLRI, I co-lead the Centre for Global South studies and head the BRICS and Emerging Market outreach for XLRI.Established in 1949, XLRI is the first business school of independent India and among its top for the last 75 years.(AACSB and FT 100)I have 30 years of work experience in corporate and academia:1. Around 10 years in strategy & business development - a) Fosroc (a British Petroleum company), b) setting up the Swiss-German MNC Hilti in Eastern India and c) IT solutions sales for CMC and TCS. Two decades of academic experience including teaching and speaking on marketing, sustainability and CSR in 27 countries including Yale, INSEAD, Harvard Business School, Cornell & DardenResearch interest: Sustainability, marketing, CSR and social entrepreneurship. Courses taught: 1) Sustainability Marketing, 2) International Marketing, 3) B2B Marketing, 4) Innovation in Circular Economy, 5) Business Sustainability and Sustainable Development, 6) Giving Voice to Values and 6) Responsible Business. Corporate training: I have trained executives from leading Indian corporations (Tata, Infosys, Wipro, Indian Oil, Bosch, JSW, Ashok Leyland, SIDBI.) as well as global conglomerates ( Gazprom-Russia, Newmont-Peru, Agthia-Abu Dhabi).I have been an invited speaker/faculty in 28 countriesA.
