About Subhash S
I started out as a software engineer who spent a few years making enterprise networking work at scale. Load balancers, NAT, STUN, IPsec, and the rest of the alphabet soup that keeps the internet from falling over. Most of my work involved making systems behave under real-world conditions and writing enough tests so future me had fewer reasons to whine.At some point, I decided it would also be fun to have opinions about what should be built, not just how, so I ended up at IIM Ahmedabad to transition into product management. I\'m generally calm, technical, and not very interested in ornamental complexity. These days I\'m interested in tech that ships products people actually use.Engineering taught me how to build, the MBA is teaching me what to build and who(m) to sell it to. I\'m trying to get all three right at the same time.
